because if you have ever lived outside North Americas and tried to purchase something from USA you would understand how difficult it can be. Even impossible. Parts of Europe (even the parts with white people in them) charge up to 50 dollars for a 25 dollars US money order to be written.
edit - fixed my broken english

Deapee. I didn't read this site earlier so if it mentioned non-white, I don't know. I have read the site as is with what appear to be many edits.
I don't believe "not living in the US" is discrimination for non-whites. If you look around, you will notice that there have been quite a number of complaints about the Paypal Service which makes things either very very difficult or very very inconvenient for anyone who is not currently in the United States (or perhaps Canada/UK ?) to get a membership even if this is desired.
I am actually a beneficiary of a similar gift because of this. Mesmeraj offering a gift membership to minors or "not living in the US" is an attempt to make something available to people who either don't have the money or don't have a way of getting the money to DPC because of DISCRIMINATORY service by paypal.
Nothing to do with colour or race. Everything to do with IP addresses and Paypal. It's not tipping the playing field, it's leveling it.
Most people who are over 18 and living in the US really have little obstacle to being able to spend 25 dollars for a year membership here.
Edit: I am a beneficiary of a gift membership for this exact reason. I wrestled for 3 months with paypal even though I am a 100% white Canadian. Location Location Location.

Is it normal that I'm a bit taken a back? Is it also normal that I'm overcome with joy? I have tears in my eyes.
No comments about the communism, you're all right ;)
I really want to nominate someone else, but everyone that I know that fits into those criterias are a member :-/
PS: Rex, I bought the gaz mask in Tblisi, Georgia (The country not the state), apparently it's a WWII gaz mask. But then again maybe I didn't understand russian that well or the seller was just lying. Just for info.

Yeah probably one of the most ignorant things I have seen posted here and this week was pretty full of drama... congratulations on winning the bone head award.
