Leap's Sandcastle Classic 2005 The Largest Sandcastle Building Contest in Northern California!
October 1, 10:00 am-3:00 pm; Recommended Viewing Time: 12:00-2:00 pm Free
Location: Ocean Beach at foot of Balboa Avenue, down the hill from the Cliff House, San Francisco
The 2005 Sandcastle Classic’s theme is Comic Adventures and it promises to be a spirited competition between teams of architects, engineers, contractors and elementary school students to craft the most impressive creations of the imagination. The Sandcastle Classic endeavors to put art back in Bay Area schools and is a fundraising event for Learning through Education in the Arts Project (LEAP!)

| Hey thanks for the plug! I have a team of over 60 people out there this weekend. 35 kids plus all the adults and siblings. It'll be a riot. Look out for me. I'm the team lead for Gensler which is in spot no.2 :) I won't be bringing my camera so I would appreciate any photos taken from my fellow DPCers :) |
