I just really like these kinds of threads. There are always great photos that just got overlooked by people for some reason. Were there any you thought would do better than they did? (other than your own -- we all think that! hahaha)

I did notice that KiwiPix, who came in 5th left a comment "will ribbon for sure". 42nd isn't a ribbon though...

I thought it was quite a great pic.

I had that one pegged for top 10 also. And while 4th is certainly nothing to sneeze at, I'm personally stunned that this shot didn't ribbon, its shock value is so high :-)

By Les Goodman. It works both as an image in itself, as well as a story. Its clever. It's also creative, because its cleverness doesn't hit you in the head, and is instead subtle and not obvious. Most importantly, it makes you think, and I'd take that kind of an image over the obviously pretty and clever any day.
