Has anyone from the DPC community read anything of Terry Goodkind? I'm currently at the beginning of Naked Empire and have been reading the series on and off for a couple years now... anyone else here that can discuss it with me?

Wow -- impressive... don't tell me anything.
I've heard that he starts getting more and more preachy, but I kinda like that... there were a lot of bad reviews out there but I enjoyed Pillars and am enjoying N.E.

I think by "preachy" people mean by the 8th book they figure out that he's been talking philosophy (Ayn Rand) and not sci fi the whole WHOLE time...
If you're interested in Rand, Objectivism, ethical egoism, etc, we definitely have a lot to talk about. :) That's sort of my pet subject. And the reason I like the books so much!
