I have been looking for a faster replacement for my kit Nikon 18-70 now that I have the Nikon 12-24 F4 and the Nikon 70-200 F2.8 VR. This one looks like it would make a good walk around lens. What do you think?

I considered that lens when I was in the market for that focal length and speed but I heard a lot of bad things about it. I ended up going for the 24-135 2.8-4.5 instead and I love it and would definitely recommend it.

OK, I take it back, it wasn't that Sigma lens, but I still recommend the one I have.
