Please help me choose which photo to enter for my local photo groups monthly contest. The theme this month is 'Bridges'. Any critique or suggestion for improvement is also welcome.
Thanks!

I like the black and white of #3. Almost an "enter the light" feel behind the bridge.

The third one is the best bridge. But honestly, I would re-shoot it at a different time of day. The bright sun behind the bridge is just too much IMO. Did you take any other pictures of that bridge? |

I am not sure i like any of them too much. You should take a look at photos here: Bridges II Challenge
I say the same as mandy, reshoot at a different time of day. Also, on the color shots, increasing the saturation may improve the shots.

For all of you that liked #3, does it work better in sepia?
or is the B&W better?
(I don't mean to seem wishy-washy, but I really can't decide on this one!) |

Sepia gives it a more nostalgic feel which I prefer. What were you going for?

I would go with the first one |

I like the color one better but for a contest I think I would go with the safer black and white image. |

sepia is overrated - b&w rules - there's something classic about a straight B&W that a sepia will never approach - stick with the classic

Well I will be going with the B&W for this contest. It seems to be the most popular choice (and it was kinda my fave to begin with) so we shall see what happens.
:)
Thanks for all the help, and I will definately let you know how it turns out. The contest is tomorrow night, so I'll post here on Friday what the results were.
Thanks again,
