A friend of mine got married yesterday, and my wedding present is a photo album from the wedding and a framed print of this photo:

The shot is already taken, so there's not too much to do about composition and such, but I want to know if the editing is working so far. Specific issues are written in the details, and I'm thankful for any constructive input.

Considering who she married, I can't blame her ;-)

I like the photo, though the bride does look a little depressed! Well done!

Man! The look on her face! Sheesh.

To be honest, I wouldn't give that picture out without severe editing. I would "make" her smile! Here's my crack at it using the Liquify tool. I also twisted her upper body slightly towards the "love of her life" ;-)

Could do much better with the larger file. Good luck with it.

...and man, yeah that look! That's one that someday they'll look back and either have a good laugh, or think "yeah, I should have known!" hehe

Thank you all for your comments. I have a slightly different version where she has exchanged her bored look for a different bored look, but it might work better for creating a smile.

I also have a candid where both are smiling. I took that one when they got in the car to drive away from the church, so their heads are also closer together.

I agree...women don't like pictures of themselves where they're not smiling for some reason -- men do, just not women :-/
