I took some portraits today. I haven't had a chance to edit all of them yet. Here are a few. What do you think? The sun was harsh in some places and not in others. Do they look ok so far?

They Look Great!

The light doesn't seem harshe at all.

thanks! I have been working on them since 2:00 this afternoon! I am so tired and my eyes are starting to cross.

I think they're great. Number 7 looks a little out of focus (instead of artfull blurred) though, and I'm not really a fan of the pose. But good stuff overall.

edit - Now that I look again, #3 with the perspective makes her legs look nice and long, but the black shirt makes her torso look too small. Just a thought.

Every single one of these photos is a treasure onto itself, and I am particulary fond of # 5.

Great capture...you are to be commended on your effort.

Thank you for your comments and suggestions. Number 7 is actually my fav because she didn't know I took it. She was laughing at her dog. She was just sitting there waiting for me to get ready.

Okay sorry,

I really do adore 1,2,4,5,6 and I like the two I commented on, but my picky brain had to pick out the flaws before the perfections. This really is great work.

Nice job Mandy! I'm sure she will be really happy with them. I like how they aren't the standard school picture poses besides #1, which is more traditional (nothing wrong with that though)!
