Hey everyone, I've searched the forums, and can't exactly find what I'm looking for, so I have a question. I notice that a lot of photos have the EXIF information in the Description Box. I know where to find it in my Photoshop Elements 2 application, but I can't seem to copy and paste the information. Does this mean that I have to write out all that info? Or, is there anything else I can do? Thanks!

There ARE exif readers/editors that allow you to copy/paste the info, but you can't do it in a single block as it's non-contiguous info with other bits interspersed, so you'd have to make several select/copy/paste moves. Isn't it simpler just to TYPE f/16, 200, 1/125 ?

The latest version of IrfanView will allow you to copy the EXIF data as a block of text to the clipboard, from whence you can paste it into any word-processing program. Looks like this:

Sorry, I meant to mention that limitation. : (

The good news is that, if you have a fairly modern Mac, you can run most Windows programs in emulation using VirtualPC -- often with greater stability than on an actual WinTel box.
