i wanted more info abt temp setting of various light sources in terms of K i.e sun , flash, tungsten etc

Maybe if you were more specific, i.e. what exactly is it you want to know that google can't tell you?

Just try this experiment:
1. Get yourself into a specific location/setting, and take a series of pictures of the same object/subject, just changing the white balance between shots. Examine the resulting differences closely.
2. After that, read what your user's manual says about WB settings. It'll make much more sense after you do #1. |

if you are looking for what the Kelvin temperature of each light source is then you should be able to google that but I have also seen it in either PhotoShop or Paint Shop Pro under the adjust color temperature option. It actually shows the kelvin temp at that setting.

Well i wnted to know Kelvin trmp of two things , First is the flash of powershot and second is say of modeling lamps of a strobe
