I am wondering if i mix 2 or more images (that i have purchased for example on istockphoto) together to create 1 totally differnet image... is that new image mine to sell????

i know that with art if is take pictures of art and 'significantly' alter it, it become MY art.. but not sure about how stock works..

nope. the copyright still remains with the roiginal photographer or creator...
