Did anybody just watch the season premier of CSI? What was that special tripod they used in the begining??

If you were referring to the tripod they used to get pictures of the tiremark bruise impressions on the body, that looked like a Bogen/Manfrotto with the center column removed and mounted horizontally.

I'm thinking Benbo because shaft that led to the head was a grayish color. Possibly the Trekker MK2.

i thought i was a nerd just for watching csi.

now i know that there are folks even nerdier than i. phew!

I don't watch CSI, but my Gitzo Explorer will do the same thing and is a grayish color.
