| Do you have to have a flash card reader, or will the camera connect to the computer directly via a USB cable? Thanks. |

well on my mac i have to use a card reader if not I have to use the canon software that came with the xt then it will see the camera

Menu - 5th icon on top right, scroll down to Communication, hit OK, select PC communication, hit OK.
You can USB cable it to you PC and see it as a removable drive in explorer, or use Canon's software.

| Ok, thanks. That's what I needed to know. My old digital camera could communicate with the PC, and my rebel xt is on the way so I thought I would ask before it got here. |
