Challenge Entry - this image IMHO has a strong sense of perspective with the vanishing point disappearing in the horizon. However, this image was topped by some images where the point of the challenge was a bit of a stretch.
Maybe I should have gone with this? It has that feel good image even though the sense of perspective isn't as strong.
I'm not complaining about my placement. I'm just trying to get a pulse from the community as to how images are perceived. Do voters even think about the point of the challenge when they score? I'm just confused.
Look at the images again. There are good ones out there that just got buried in the mix. Unfortunate as it may seem, I guess that's the fact of life when entries top the 500+ mark.

Beat me by 5 places :-) I think the actual entry is a better choice. I think you were probably downgraded soemwhat for the technicolor blue of the sky...

Actually, I like the one you didn't enter, and think it has a strong perspective element in all the rows coming together. IMO the plain vanishing point (eg railway) photos are beautiful, but often lack something extra. I tried to play with my vanishing point picture as well. |

prespective.... well in my point of view.. the second one is better..the crop is right , the compose ,color, but one thing would make it from good to great as i think for this challenge...
the "prespective" point of shooting..
maybe trying to place a tripod on the surface between it.. or simply just shooting from the ground...
now that is new, fresh, and different prespective to take a shot...
