I got my open water diving certification last year and since that time I have been wanting to take my camera down with me. I don't know where to begin. I know I need a camera housing but what else do I need? Thanks in advance.

I think the first two links have something for you.

i was in process of responding when i saw your camera--and i have to say i think you are very brave to take the 10D down! :) my plan is to get housing for my G2 when (whenever) i get my 10D--i'm less afraid of losing that one, if anything should happen.
anyway, after my bad rented dive camera experience in belize--i think the most important thing after the housing are the strobes. lenses (to me) can come later unless i get some kind of deal with the housing that might include a wide angle and macro lens. telephoto might be cool for shallower dives, but you probably want to stay within range of your light source.
this is as far as i've gotten in my thoughts about this...but if you find anything interesting, please keep me posted! :)

I feel the same way about my 10d that is why I would be taking my d30 down. I've done some investigating and camera housings are quite expensive though. I may end up just buying a smaller digital camera and housing and use that. I don't know yet.
