i'm going to stop posting to threads altogether since nothing positive seems to come of them.
Just wait... 10 years from now Carolle Prints will be all the rage!!! I'll work for a big magazine and people will line up to buy my prints because of how much they LOVE my photography.

I'm not having a good monday and I've done my bit of whining for the rest of the year. I'm stressed out with deadlines and assignments among other things. Acting childish isn't normally something I do and for that I apologize.

I'm working up to being a much better photographer. I look at some of the b/w prints i did in my first year studying photography... they look like absolute crap to me lol. Maybe someday the things I like today will look sub average to me once I have established myself.

I do enjoy photography and I"m in it for a reason. I do believe i have talent that hasn't yet come to the surface and I do believe i have some that has surfaced.

no worries bigsmiles... we have all had bad mondays.. :o) just get in there and swim, let the waves of criticism beat ya up a bit and then swim some more... sooner or later that talent will surface... or look at it like this... if you don't get in there and swim, that talent will drown! :o)

you will have at least drowned while trying to swim... better to try and fail, then not to try and sink straight to the bottom... BTW I like your pencil picture... :o)

Thanks :) I really liked it too.. I really enjoyed being given a subject and doing something with it. Easier to work on the technical aspects of an image w/out worrying about meeting the challenge.
