Every year All Hands magazine, a Navy magazine, has a photo contest called Any Day in the Navy. This year I'm torn between to pics and I'd really like your input. Shoud I pick the sunset picture or the day picture?

While the one with the life boat may show "any day" better (I have no idea; I've never been in the Navy), I think the one over the water is much more pleasing to look at.

Does it have to be photos from the last year, and do they have to be digital?
I spent 12 years in the Navy (83 - 95) and have some great shots. Would they be eligible?

Yeah I was in the navy for 5 years and have some really good shots from the persian gulf in 99-00. Are they eligible? |

Sunset. No doubt about it. Fantastic shot. I'd be putting it on DPPrints, if I were you.

I think you have to be active duty and the picture has to be recent. It can be digital or film.
