I had a neat idea for the destinations challenge, but it turned out to be too tough for me to take a nice looking shot in my infinite newbieness. What do you think of the idea though?
P.S this was not entered due to how ugly it looks

Thanks.
Just a couple things in response to your comment... I have no velvet or anything non-reflective to use as a backdrop. Also, I made the flames with a lighter then ran and layed down on the pillow.. 5 seconds is not nearly enough to do that (since my source of light was a lighter). And, the noise levels are really high so a higher ISO was not an option for me, it took alot of blurring to get rid of it, and there's STILL lots. Oh, and my cameras highest aperture setting is f8.0, I tried it but the photo showed up too dark and I'm in the picture so I couldnt use any other source of light other than my thumb and a lighter (my bedroom lamp made the wall and black reflective blanket too visible, and I couldn't turn it on without my arm movement showing up in the photo). I don't have many tools of the trade, just a camera and a tripod =[.
But thanks for the comment =] |
