Nice camera but no IS? At 15x that will be hard to get clear shots.

To wait or not to wait - that is the question???

I have been excited by the Samsung Pro815 but it still has the 2/3" chip which limits quality, especially in low light situations. This is the same knock I have against the FujiFilm 9000S - and both lack image stabilization. I am tempted by both and also tempted to wait for the next generation chip that will be 2-3x bigger and therefore have more data in each picture (no matter what the claimed resolution is in the current generation they are straining IMHO).

Any opinions on waiting? I use a Nikon 7900 for my take everywhere camera and a D70 for my studio work.

Schneider Lens f= 7.2 ~ 108.0mm (35mm film equivalent : 28~420 mm)
Lens F No. F2.2 ~ F4.6

My Canon A70 that I use for messsing around and letting my daughter play with has a lower f/ than that...

Prepare for no depth of field.

For $850, I'd buy a used Canon 300d and an extra lens, or the Konica maxxum 5d. (which has IS)
