It's just odd today. On the "How tall are you" thread there are posts after rtkdesign, or so the front page says but they are not actually showing on the thread. I was trying to post something earlier and it just wasn't working. WTH is going on?

I don't think so.

DPC doesn't seem to work as it would / should at all this evening.

and my post on that thread is repeated like 3 times. So weird

hmm whats going on, I am getting alot of down for maintenance pages lately for the past couple of days and then its runs really slow or a page my take forever to load and then all of a sudden its fine.

First off there was some scheduled maintenance downtime a few days ago. That's uncovered a couple of further bugs requiring repair.

In addition, it's possible that the site's been crawling with spiders and 'bots, as more than one search service indexes it.

I'm also working on optimising the Internet in general. This will result in a faster Internet experience overall.

So you haven't got to the techy bit yet, where you stick a screwdriver in and see what makes sparks?? Thought you would have been onto the hammer stage by now!!

You did upgrade to that 56k modem like I suggested, right?

Unfortunately, my banking software requires I use a 28.8 baud, external modem the size of a shoebox. Luckily my ISP (AOL) is awesome fast!

I think I've had an AOL account since I was accessing it on a Mac SE -- I wonder what it looks like in black and white nowadays ... : )

It's all a part of the big conspiracy. My destinations entry is doing better than any other I've submitted to date. DPC is trying to make it hard for people to tell me how good it really is!
