I'm getting killed. Next time I won't leave anything to judgment. The techs need to be crystalline. I got two comments that say it all and both are way off the mark in tech terms...but what can I do.

I did Everything anti DPC on this shot (except for maybe fitting the description, maybe) and still have 4.7
What is fun though is seeing the score creep up, then get smacked down by a 1 Hehe.
All for fun, but I'd like t see more than 2% comment.. |

Marius-I'm in the same boat but I thought it would sell for some reason. I broke a few DPC rules or so my image looks as though it had broken some rules. The main problem is, that a quick shuffle through voter will never be able to extract what I was trying to convey.
So I think, that I have a respectable photo which is missing that quick spark with the voters. I believe that you can't make people work too hard. They might not have the time or energy to look deeply into what you are trying to push through.
Pretty good photo but the wrong forum for viewing it...

Wow. I feel better knowing I am keeping company with you two. I broke no rules, I am 'inside' the box (or so I thought) but my conceptual/metaphorical destination is get DNMC comments. I have now learned - never make the average voter think. ;)

Don't get me wrong... it's my best score ever (to date), but it's also fallen 1/2 a point in 24 hours.
Normally I start low and creep up. Still waitin' to turn the corner.
