anybody done business with the following companies...they are cheapest on pricegrabber.com
abes of maine
buydig.com
cameramall.com is cheapest at 1297.90 for 20 d with kit lens |

Bought my past 3 cameras from buydig! They are an amazing company... never had a problem. They don;t make you call to verify your order or pressure you to buy extras and they ship VERY fast. I usually get my stuff in about 3 days.

| I am also getting a 20D for christmas. I am so excited. Its feels like it is going to take forever. I am also looking for the best place to buy one. |

Barry--I've heard they'e ok,, but you can check out any internet store by looking them up on //www.resellerratings.com
Mandy, If you can wait a long while for delivery, keep your eyes on Dell. Watch for "Stackable" coupon codes posted here and on //www.xpbargains.com. Then when you see a deal, get it, and use their no payments or interest to 2007 (or whatever it is now), and you don't even have to front any money (and then later just pay it off before the date indicated if you don't want to pay any interest. Since you have some time to patiently watch, you could end up with a better deal than waiting until christmas time.

I have to wait and use the christmas check I get from my grandmother. I will be paying cash. I try to buy everything with cash--I hate monthly payments. |

Of those you've listed, buydig is far above the rest in reputation. Abe's of Maine is not really in Maine and straddles the line between good and bad. Lots of folks have decent experiences, but some have not. As previously posted, a store that has a high rating at resellerratings will not disappoint. Remember that service is worth something, the lowest price is not everything.

all of the lower price ones are all within about 20 bucks of each other.
I bought my rebel from dell.those coupon things a pain...and i had a heck of a time with dell customer service trying to get all i needed for a rebate. we need an inside person at all these companies.. |
