With the Canon Playtime competition i won this beautiful camera. But without a memory stick. I like to buy one but, where i live there is no store who sells it. I have to buy it throug the internet.
I like to have 1 gb.Can somebody advice me where and wich memory stick i have to buy. Its a CF card type 1 and 2. I really do not know what its means and where to buy.

Hi Tamas,
Congrats on winning the XT, it's a very nice cam! The memory card you'll need is referred to as "Compact Flash". I'd recommend diong a search of the EU internet sites, you should be able to buy a good 1GB card for <100 euro.
I recommend the Sandisk Ultra II cards, they have a great reputation for durability and are reasonably priced.

The CF stands for CompactFlash. It's a particular size and type of memory. They come in various sizes and speeds. You will most likely want a professional grade which would be 80x (that's a speed designation.) I use the Lexar 1 gb. 80x Professional CompactFlash. You should be able to do an internet search and find sources for them. they now run about $150 for the 1gb size, but you may be able to find a better price by searching.
