Inspired by the in-camera-effect credo here at dpchallenge, I shot this picture using motion blur in the camera for the effect.

nice one! what were the settings? is this a studio shot? (i ask because of the black bg).

Nice one. I take it that's where the ball stopped. There was something holding it there right? Otherwise you would not have gotten such a clear shot of the logo, right?

Thanks for the comments all. The photo was a second or so. The ball held in place for about half the exposure then pushed up and out of the hole for the last half of the exposure. I shot a bunch of these. Some are cool, some show fingers, I learned that if your ball moves too fast it looks like a ghost or is not visible at all. Was fun.
What I found most interesting is that because we think of a golf ball falling in the hole, unless you consider how the photographic process works the viewer assumes that the static picture is of the ball going in not out. Lot's of fun...
