Well, actually I just lost my lens cap.
Anybody have a spare cap for the 18-55mm that comes with the Rebel?
I'll pay a handsome price.

Seems a bit expensive but worth having a few extras around for when you lose them :) Also you could pretend you have the USM version for that lens if you don't already :P The lens caps are available in non-USM varieties too.

You can propably buy a 58mm lens cap from your local camera store. Shouldn't cost much.

$7.95 for a piece of plastic!!!!!

Here's a recommendation: get a Tamron cap! They have the nice center-pinch fetature, I like 'em better than the Canon caps, a a matter of fact, I keep Tamron caps on my L glass, LOL.

Very true, especially if you have a big lens hood on! With some of the Canon's I find i have to take the lens hood off just to get the lens cap off the lens! It's a real pain! |

I just put a tamron cap on my new olympus 50-200. Its a pain to take the hood off just to take the cap off. |

Add my voice to the "pro Tamron cap" camp. I wonder why one arth Canon doesn't follow their lead?
