bring the tone down just a noch and convert to grayscale it seems to have a cyan tint spend a little bit of time on the catch lights in the eyes for a more professional look you want one round catch light in each eye

I'm not a professional by any means, but I think you should pick one color for the eyes instead of having brown and blue. It's just a little confusing, and I think you'll find that when you go with one color, it will stand out more.

That, and round out the catch-light as was stated, and i think it's great. I like the feel of it, and the detail.

Nice. :)

The problem with the eyes is she was looking up at me and into the sun. When I enlarge the photo, I can see my outline in her eyes, thus the stange coloring. I've tried to make them darker, to "round out" the catch light, but they look even funkier ... Like I said, this was definitely a hard photo to work with, but I love her smile on her lips and in her eyes.

Well - in light of those things - I'd kind of like to see this picture without the blue, and just all this nice slight shade of sepia without any selective coloring. I think the smile is seen in her eyes even without the blue.
