| Is it absolutely necessary for the challenges? I don't think my camera gives any informations on those. Also, none of the recommended programs (in the FAQ section) to extract metadata won't work, since I'm not using Windows. |

If it's Linux you're using there are several tools to read exif info from a jpeg. I'm currently using metacam.

Thanks! metacam works.
However, as I suspected, the camera doesn't provide aperture/shutter info, so the metatags aren't of any help. |
