Why can't time pass by faster? I"d really like to see what everyone thinks of my close up shot. I liked it so much I'm going to use it for an upcoming assignment (I wont tell you which one...) Anyone else as excited as I am?

I'm excited, and I haven't even taken my shot! My head is filled with visions of how it's going to look. I only hope that my camera skills can match my imagination! Good luck (to everyone)!

I'm excited to see what everybody else has come up with, I'm expecting plenty of very high quality shots next week - don't let me down people!

I think we get more high quality shots when the challenge isn't complicated (like let's say Superstitions?). Lately I've been disappointed in the submissions when we get strange challenges.

I think it's just easier for us to come up with something of quality when we're not so concerned about meeting the challenge and making sure people actually understand it.

Anyway :P My submission is visually appealing as well as technically near perfect ;)

Why can't time pass by slower? I didn't come up with a good photo yet.

This is the first challenge that I like the first picture I took. I have changed since I first started with these challenges. At first I was eager to score high and get lots of approval. Now, although I wouldn't mind scoring high, I have relaxed and eased up on myself. The main one I aim to please is me. If I am happy with the result of my careful planning and execution, then any accolades I get just become the cherries on top. BUT......lol......I really hope y'all like my picture! :-) Grayceeee Deeeee

I totally agree. Of all the photo's I've posted, I think this one is definately the best (although that doesn't mean much, since my first 2 haven't done particularly well), and I'd love to hear everyone's feedback on it!

Well the majority of the voters don't appreciate my picture, or like it as much as I do. Cest' la vie! I'm voting pretty high myself. I like a lot of the submissions. I'd like to add that if I don't know what it is, that's fine. If it looks good and seems to be technically fine...I vote high. Wish others would look at mine that way. lol Oh well. :-) Smiling anyway!

Move over a bit Gracious, we're in the same boat. I appreciate my shot and know it's good. Like you I vote high, and this time it seems like a lot of folks got high scores. All of them well earned. You and I can smile while we row this boat! <lol>

Well... I have LOTS of great ideas for the tech shot but none of them that I can do for lack of supplies. So, I can only dream of what the shot might have looked liked. :(

I have a technically good shot done but.... it's not me. I usually like to be off the wall a bit and unless I get inspired real quick, I'll be submitting what I would consider by most mundane shot. :)

2 days to go though so.... pensée positive!

Bonne chance mon ami. Tu devrais essayer de boire une bonne bouteille de vin pour t'inspirer. Ça pourrait aider.

I just told kosmikkreeper to drink a bottle of wine for inspiration. I might try it myself. :)

Merci pour le boost! Yes I shall have a nice Italian red tonight and see if my creative juices can flow (using the stuff I have!). :o)

I got a great idea (not so much about technology, but a fun setup) when I went to bed. Got out in the morning, set it up and it took me 5 shots or something. 2 for framing, 2 for light metering & compensation and one for the final image.
Instead of trying 100 different things I went for the easy way this time. :-)
