I want to thank everyone for giving me such a laugh with their comments on my Branch entry.

I thought I would put you all at ease by letting you know that no harm came to the bird. I am a bird rescuer and this bird is one of my patients. He has bonded very well with us.

This shot is the only shot I got of both the cat and the bird together. A second later the cat bolted out of the left side of the image. The bird actually sits on the cat for fun. Seems strange considering the cat is a bird hunter (grrr!!)

Also for the ones that felt this image was not within the category, the word 'BRANCH' is actually made out of branches that I cut up. The leaf was originally on that branch.

But just to show you that no harm has come of the bird I am including a photo my daughter took just 2 nights ago. Rufus, the rainbow lorikeet usually falls asleep with my hubby in front of the TV each night.

So thanks again everyone for giving me a heap of fun with this challenge.
