OK quick question for the SC

I took a photo with the 10D and the Peleng 15mm fisheye for the perspective challenge, however when I look at the EXIF I get this:

Date 12/09/2005 12:02:21 Canon Canon EOS 10D
ISO 100
Shutter 1/60 s
Aperture F 0.00 Compensation EV -1.00
Flash Flash did not fire

And thats all. The apperture is not recorded becasue of the converter.
Does this cause any problems with validation ??

Lack of aperture info probably isn't a problem, but you might want to document that the date is displayed in dd/mm/yy format, and not the more commonly-used (in the USA) mm/dd/yy format.

Not SC :) but, one of my images shot using a very old lens that didn't record the aperture or focal length was verified.

I'm aware, which is why I wanted to remind you that most of the SC is based in the USA, and might think it's the other way. Just suggesting that if you're ever asked to submit a file for validation, you might mention the issue if the date's an ambiguous one.

Myself, on computers anyway, I've decided the most compact and useful way is yy/mm/dd, because I can type it using only six characters (e.g. 050914 for today), and it also stays nicely lined up in alphabetic views. That's how I try and name all my folders and dated files.
