We are in the middle of an Election campaign, we go to the polls on saturday.
We have one (loosing) candidate in a particular electorate accusing another of tax fraud, sexual harrasment and money laundering.,
the local paper has come out with a front page editorial condemming his gutter politics and the accused candidate has filed in the high court papers suing his rival for slander libel and what ever else. Oh happy days !!!!!!!

And we are in good old N.Z.

wonder were they learned their tricks from.?

I think the biggest joke was when labour supporters acused Brash of lying saying that it was poor coming from a possible Prime Minister.
That after our current PM has lied through her teeth throughout the last 6 years, signed her name to someone elses artwork, let her protection detail from the Police take the fall for her decisions etc etc etc

Probably
When it comes to dishonesty, lack of integrity, and being totally self serving, our Politicians are second to no-one, ( with the possible exception of the news media )

Hehe, this thread made me laugh. What really pissed me off this morning was labour campaigners waving "Vote Labour" signs at traffic on a busy round-about during rush hour....

I guess they are pretty busy spending that surplus on their election campaign, instead of thinking about our safety.

Labour has been absolutely petty. (They've all been pretty petty) I can't believe how much of a blow out they made out of the brethren scandal... totally rediculous.

Hehe, Ill be voting and leaving the country about 3 weeks later... I wonder how the politics in Canada are? :)

God I hope not......

At least if National get in we will hopefully have a change of staff at TV1......after all their bias towards Labour, there jobs would have to be in jeapordy, and if that happens we might get some decent programming there

The words "pot" and "kettle" spring readily to mind.

Trouble is.....if I don't vote, I don't have the right to grizzle and moan about the decisions they make over the next 3 yrs.
