you should avoid making public posts that describe or in any way reveal which image is yours in a challenge that is currently in the voting stage. discussion is all well and good, but it should be saved for the post-challenge.

We ask that no users disclose their entries during the voting period. Thanks! |

Um, ok. I'm sorry that asking you to follow the same rules that everyone else does drives you nuts. Not much I can do about that. |

saying someone is abrasive and drives you nuts doesn't strike me as friendly. |

Could somebody point out where it says you cannot reveal your entry in the rules? I can't find that. Also i find it interesting that the TOS says that dpc cannot control it's members... but it seems like it does.
I'd like to clarify that i don't think that there should be revealing of entries, but I just couldn't find it anywhere.

I apologize. I didn't understand that your post about me driving you nuts was supposed to be friendly. I was only trying to help you out with the general site etiquette since you didn't seem to know. |

look, i think this thread is way off topic now. Why don't we just forget the miscommunications that happen sometimes when people use text instead of person to person words to convey a thought move on.
Friends? cool. Lets play nice now.

it's not a hard-and-fast rule. it's always been a common courtesy. |

I find happy faces and smilies help to show humor or sarcasm in an environment such as this. Otherwise, who can tell the difference besides the poster. The SC's are just doing their jobs, which by the way are voluntary and unpaid . I don't think it's anything personal.

so technically it's legal if you post your entry? I mean except that people will yell at you for doing so.

I did see someone do it -- but i didn't realize it was post entry or maybe it was during.... I honestly just wanted an opinion. if they felt like clicking the profile to see the other one.. it was their option.. but I in fact did not post the entry on the screen...I posted the picture I did not enter and thought I should have...I don't even care if you dq the one thats on there now.. everyone thinks she is a boy anyways by the comments. there are pictures of lot s of things on my profile.. if they wanted to take a guess .. what the heck..
:) :p -- how does this work for ya smiles and happy faces |

Sure hope you don't think this type of behaviour on your part will endear you to any of the SC members... or even the general populace in DPC for that matter.
It is rather sad that you fail to comprehend that these people help each and everyone of us... do so voluntarily and on their own time.
If anyone needs to "Chill Out"... I fear you are targeting the wrong person.
