Hey everyone,

I'm working on a Business Card projet (involving a picture) and i'd like to 'Crop' the image to the size(shape) of the business card. The size of the card is of 3.5inchs by 2 inchs. Now my problem is, i want to 'Crop' the imagine so that it reflects the business card shape so that i can properly work on it, without resizing the image. If i enter '3.5 x 2' in the crop window, it clearly down-sizes the image... I'm sure there's a simple way to do this, but i just can't see it with my tired brain... any help would be appreciated.

thanks for everyone's help.

Um, just use some multiple of the ratio of 3.5:2?

I'd just do it in pixels if i were you, find out the image's dimensions in pixels, pick one dimension and work out the other by the ratio, crop to that.

If I understand your plight, use the Rectangular Marquee tool instead of the crop tool, and then put in the fixed aspect ratio of 2 x 3.5...
