My husband and I had talked about opening up our home for displaced hurricane victims. After prayerful discussion, we decided not to for a variety of reasons...mostly being overwhelmed with caring for several other individuals at the moment.

It did get me thinking, however, and after looking around I found this site that others of you may have heard of:

Katrina Housing

If you want to know if there are still good people in this world, do a search for listings of available housing. I punched in Ohio and hundreds came up (I didn't have time to read through all of them.) With so much negativity in this world, I was really touched by these offerings.
