Here are some of the 1st pics from my new Rebel XT.
What do ya think. Personally I'm astounded as to the quality oppossed to what I was used to from my other camera

Very nice shots! The colors and detail are excellent! The flower looks a bit dark to me, but otherwise the centered composition works well there. The frog, on the other hand needs a better placement. In my opinion. I dont think the composition works quite as well on that one. Nice job though. I hope it helps.

I agree with parrothead. However, I do wonder what the flower would look like if you cropped off some of the left side and removed the brown stuff?

That's nice too, but I like the colors and reflections in the first one better.
I'm no noise expert, but I think a noise plugin might help with the noise in the reflection.
Here's an example of what I was thinking with the crop. I also cloned out a few small distractions.
