I have long been told that art inspires art. Van Gough (sp?) said "art dusts from the soul the dirt of everday life". I have been looking through some of my old shots today just to see where I have come from and where I am going as an artist and photographer and I began to see aspects of some of my favorit photographers creep into my shots. I think as artists we should stop every now and then and just examin where we were, where we came from, and where we are going. So, I pose this question to you;
Artist show their soul in their work so unlike any other thing in life the person on the outside looking in can make somewhat of a real connection with the artist through their artwork. What artist is it that you can identify with the most, and why?

some will be able to respond right now, others will have to think on it.

just a question to get you thinking.

I've seen them dance on the windshield on a cold winter's night.

Wallace Stevens.
"Disillusionment of Ten O'Clock" in particular today. Read the poem and then ask why.
