While we're basically adding to the site every day, I figured I'd let you know about a few new features you should check out and start using.

- Photo comments!! You can now comment on photographs as you view them. Comments will be visible only to the photographer until the challenge is over, when they will be viewable by the public. You will also soon be able to add comments after the challenge is over from the image-view page.

- Recent forum activity is now shown on your Home page. The last 5 posts to the forums are displayed, so you can keep up easier.

- We've added a new graphical voting statistics feature to the image display page. Go to //www.dpchallenge.com/results.asp, and click on an image title to see the new chart.

- Photographers are no longer allowed to vote on their own submissions. FYI, Votes cast under this challenge for a photographer's own submission have been removed.

- The "Recommend Disqualification for this Picture" link on the voting page will be active very soon. You'll be able to use this feature if you feel the photograph shouldn't be in the challenge (for example, if the photo doesn't fit the criteria for the challenge).

We'd certainly appreciate your comments on the new features. And if you've got ideas for new or altered features, let us know here as well!

I love the new feature. I encourage everyone to use it. My biggest complaint on many of the other websites for photographers is the lack of feedback from other members. However, I hope that everyone here remembers tact in their comments.

The "Recommend Disqualification for this Picture" link is now active. Please use this if you have a reason to disqualify a photo from the challenge. Possible reasons are:

- The photograph does not fit the criteria of the current challenge, in the case of the current challenge: "Table Shot"

- The photograph has hints of alteration in ways outside of those allowed on DPChallenge

- You have proof the photograph was not taken by the photographer who submitted it to the challenge

We appreciate your help!

Andrew
