I would like to suggest to the SC that the "Photographers comments" field in the database is made a . It should be easy to do via a property switch in setup.

With the completion of Shoes it is very apparent that there is a huge number of entries that have no explanation or comment about how the shot was developed, what the technique was, what the frustrations were and how you feel about the result.

It seems that the great value of DPC for everyone other than the top 3 in each challenge is in learning how to get better. This we get from sharing all of the above.

Required? Why? What would the required comment have to include? Or would it just have to be a statement? Would it have to be so many words, like a school essay? Or could I just write "duh!" or something to that effect?

Too many rules already. Let's lighten up a little around here and just enjoy the site.
