Hi everyone,
I've created a load of thumbnails, and want to put them on a website for a client to peruse.
I need some free/cheap software that will display them without creating more thumbnails. I just want them in a number of rows of my choosing, but over several pages as there are several hundred. I don't want any of the thumbnails to link to any other pages.
Any suggestions?

if you are on a PC, Picasa is pretty sweet, free, google product. Photoshop will also make a site.

i've used simpleviewer and liked it, and it has been used by a number of others here. it's worth looking at, if only to get an idea of some of the alternatives. good luck!

Are you sure they will create galleries without thumbnails? My version of Photoshop (7) certainly doesn't.

Thanks for the help, but please read...
I do not want thumbnails.
I want only the thumbnails I've created, with no links to the images.
Otherwise I have a million programmes that will create galleries.
This is why I am stuck.
If you can help with a gallery THAT DOES NOT NEED THUMBNAILS, please let me know.

Basically, I just want to automatically create a number of pages that will display several hundred photos between them without generating thumbnails.

Just build a website and out the thumbs on a page with no links. Sounds very simple. I don't think you need a software package other then Dreamweaver or FrontPage to do it.

It would take me forever to do that with 400 images AND build in a system for people to navigate the pages. I really do need something automatic... unless anyone can think of a quick way for me to batch program this into HTML.

2 days? Probably less. If you don't want anything fancy and you already said you didn't want image links, this is not a hard thing to do.

FrontPage will allow you to upload mutible images through the Photo Gallery Properties option. I'm sure dreamweaver will do the same.
