OK, that's IT!!!! I'm going to out right now to spend $50K on equipment, $500K on a boat, move to Alaska and start taking pictures! My mind is made up! Thanks for the encouragement!

Not all of that is photography...but the photographs are nice.
Edit: I shouldn't be so reckless...I highly suspect that not all of that is photography but could be proven wrong.

| The whale photos are breath taking. They are certainly not easy to get...can't imagine getting ALL of those. I'd be one proud lady. |

How gorgeous are his pictures!!!
I've seen equal to that tho in DPC...
I give lots of kudos to those who can photograph that well and am proud to know some that I call friends :)

I believe they are all out of the camera compositions that have been polish-processed only. No composites. Google Jim Brandenburg sometime for similar photography.

I'm glad others though there was some monkey-business going on. I would point out whale shot #19 in specific. The light on the mountains appears to be coming on the right side and behind. There is too much of a highlight on the whale's white "eye" and jaw which makes the light source appear to be in front. Likely a composite.
Still, I can commend him on the PS work alone. It's pretty well done. Only someone looking for it could spot it. |

Go to Anacortes or the San Juan Islands in Puget Sound WA, and you too will have an opportunity to take these type of images. The place is crawling with them.
80% of good photography is being there with a camera |
