Most likely you're in a different time zone. All times go by DPC server time which is EDT. Submission dates are THROUGH the 6th, which means voting will start at the end of today, since people still have today to submit. Also, you have till midnight SERVER time to submit. So keep an eye on the clock at the bottom of every page.

Goto MY HOME and PREFERENCES. There you can edit all your preferences and add a photo which needs to be the size suggested on that page.

I'm a second shifter, so I'm always up late. Don't expect me to ever be out of bed before 10 though. Don't capture many sunrises that way, but oh well.

They're amazing stats there Jutilda! I find when I vote I find it hard to say exactly what I mean when I do comments so I tend to skip them a lot of the time because I don't want to offend anyone! Well done!

Judy's comments have always been an inspiration to me. She is generous and constructive in her approach to all. Thanks for starting this thread and giving us a chance to show our appreciation to this lovely lady..

oh hey heather.sorry i didn't know u were sending me an e-mail.not what i expected but i rather know the truth.i am not sure what kind of editing we are allowed and not.so probably i'll have plenty of disqualified photos until i find out....

violeta, the editing rules are in the RULES section for each challenge. Make sure you read them and understand them, because if you do get another DQ, you will be suspended from the site for a period of time which increases for each DQ received. Feel free to email any member of the SC, or search through the forums if you have questions. Many of them are already answered for you.

hey hey calm down.u were the one that e-mailed me first and then i e-mailed u back and u said u'll respond on my e-mail and u didn't so i was curious why u didn't write back.that is all .it's not like i slapped you over the head so don't get all upset over nothing,k?

Yeah, I didn't mean to sound mean. I don't always have a lot of time to respond to every single request for critiques and then sometimes I forget all about them when I do have time. It's late (or early), it's been a long day, kid is sick, hubby's working late and I think I need sleep. Trying to hold off till hubby gets home though. It's not working.

ok ok. JUDY IS THE BEST.how's that. but not to be rude or nothing but i don't necesarily agree that we should post 10 comments for JUDY because if i go now to do that,it will feel to forced,u know what i mean? when i see a photo it has to come natural that i post a comment but if i look at a photo trying to find a comment all it will come out of me will be like...gorgeous photo...and so on and also maybe people are just trying to be nice to her so they might not say what they think. right? or no? maybe it's just me.don't listen to me i am in my little own world...

When I started to ask the question, it was meant as a voluntary thing. I didn't say we should all post 10 comments. All I said was 10 comments for Judi. Who's with me?

When you decide to enter a challenge, you'll know what we mean.

It doesn't have to be forced Violeta. A lot of folks around here spend a lot of time just browsing around viewing and commenting on photos. That's the way many of us learn so much. You view and study, and just say what you're thinking. You really start learning what things work and what things don't in photos. It seems daunting, but really isn't, especially if you're looking at people that have been around for awhile and have lots of pics in their portfolios. This is how a lot of people have built up big amounts of comments in their stats. Just lots of viewin' and commentin' :-) Don't worry, you'll get the hang of things. Just keep shootin' and have fun :-)

HOLY SH____! You guys rock. I couldn't figure out why I had so many comments in my portfolio. I wrote some of you personally and then I found this thread. Man - I am so flattered.

If you knew me, you'd laugh. If I'm not talking, I'm typing. I guess the remarks I make are just a continuation of my gift of gab. So glad they are appreciated, folks. There are so many great shots, I just have to say something. LOL

Now everybody go give me a 10 on my High Contrast and I'll be happy. :~p

Jutilda left the very first comment in my portfolio and it made my day. Her comments are always constructive and never nasty..gotta love this gal!
