I re-edited this photo and would like any opinions if anyone would care to give 'em :-)
the original:
new version:
The new version I have cropped to a 1.50:1 aspect ratio. This allowed me to get the fence post close to the edge, which I feel is much less of a distraction. I tried, but didn't like removing it all together, I felt it gives a little solid context to the actual fence. The new crop also got rid of a lot of the grass in the foreground (most of the original comments pointed to this), and brought the 'horizon' line out from the center. I also did some dodging and burning, to tone down the bright grass, bring out some more mids and darks, and try to add some depth in the trees.
Any thoughts?
thanks :-) :-) :-)
