WOW! I really don't find the humor in this at all. Maybe I'm missing it, but needless killing of wildlife for trivial and wasteful purposes isn't funny to me. I'm sure fish and game wouldn't find this to humorous either. You could of least skinned it and cleaned it for the meat so it wasn't such a waste of animal life.

Can you tell it was needless killing of wildlife for trivial purposes from the photo? Or that it wasn't skinned and used. If it was killed for fun, that's horrible, but I'm hoping it was a car that ripped it's upper jaw off.

It looks like UF played the DAWGS a little early.
Seriously, it looks like it was ran over, the bottom of his jaw is all jacked up. Survival of the fittest...and he wasnt to fit to cross the highway, eh?

The humor was from the very first comment, about it being sent to him...get it? huh? Ie: like in the mail...his friend sent him the carcass? It is pretty damn obvious that this was killed by traffic. Probably on the road, car comes, to late to stop, gator sees car a tries to bite it. Rip! Took his top jaw off. Make sense?

Why? Perhaps because compassion fits in there somewhere. Compassion for a wild animal who was just trying to live its life. Or even just compassion for a creature that has experienced pain. Not funny to me, my friend.

Unfortunately finding something like this funny indicates a definite lack of compassion towards a living species. Now you can argue that it is only a wild animal but there is a direct relationship in how we feel or treat fellow human beings. This is especially true if they are not within an individuals social, economic and racial comfort zone.
Personally, Iâm not offended by your attitude but I do find it almost impossible to comprehend how anyone could consider this picture âfunnyâ. Maybe Iâm lame but I donât even get how the fact that it âwas sent to himâ makes it funny.
Just my opinion of course.

Guess a picture of a US Marine with his head blown off by a mortar shell would be funny too, huh? Did I say that out loud? Yep, I did.
Before I get flamed from here to hell and back, no I don't want anyone, including the boys in Iraq to get hurt. Just kinda pissed at the apparent lack of campssion for what used to be a beautiful wild animal.

I personally am offended at the road. Do you realize how much foliage is displaced and destroyed for our beloved highways? Every day, we drive our cars over the gruesome crude graves of millions of blades of grass, flowers, and various assorted shrubbery. Being a member of Citizens for the Ethical Treatment of Foliage, I feel that this is an offense that must be stopped. After all, plants are living breathing things, just like people. How would you like it if someone poured tar over you so that people could go places more "conveniently?" It wouldn't be very convenient for you, would it? We must stop the pointless killing of plants, because plants are people too.
Eat more meat, eat less plants.

I personally think it's just an age thing.....things I thought were hilarious back in High School...make me sick now.....as you grow older, wiser and more compassionate you have a tendency to things in a different light.
