At //www.keh.com you can sell or trade for something you might use more often. They are an excellent place to do business. //www.fredmiranda.com has a buy and sell forum (I hear) that a lot of people use.
Let me check my paypal piggie bank and see what I got in there...sounds like a good birding lens.

fred miranda. Took me two days to find buyers for two lenses.
If you have had it for only a few days, I think you can send it back to B&H.

The account cost you nothing but an email address.
PS. This is a lens that I'm trying to talk my wife into beliving that I need or I'll die. ;-P, so how much are you going to ask?? |

I'll tell you one thing...eBay people (buyers of lenses) are funny. They bid lenses up (decent ones) to the street value of the lens. I have now sold two, a little better than average, lenses there and got what (or more) than I paid for the lens new (after rebate). I sold a tammy a couple of weeks ago that the buyer could have bought new on the web for less.
Go figure.
ED: Wow that thing takes a 86mm Filter...how heavy is it?

I own this lens for the Nikon and it weighs less than my Nikkor 70-200 2.8 VR. About 2.7 lbs I think. |

It weighs 2.7 pounds, and a fine lens it is.
If you click the link in HaydensMommy's first post, you can see all the specs simply by clicking on the "specifications" tab. B&H is a very good resource for info about lenses even if you're not buying there.
