Like always, here is an entry I don't think is quite as good as some of my other entries, yet is scoring higher than I thought it would. There I go thinking again...

You can use some pretty easy math to find the scores people give you if you hit the update button often. |

(4.9104*67)-(4.9242*66)/(67-66)=3.9996 (so you got a 4, basically, you'll have to set it up on excel to make it easier) |

Remember that:
average score = total score / number of votes.
Rearrange this and we get:
average score * number of votes = total score
For your first 73 votes, you had an average of 6.4000. This means each of your 73 votes had an average score 6.4, and your total score (all the votes added together) is 6.4000 * 73 = 467.
For your first 75 votes, you had an average of 6.3200. This means that your first 75 votes had an average score of 6.3200, so your total score would be 6.3200 * 75 = 474.
The only difference between the two total scores were your last two votes. Therefore, they account for the difference between total scores , or 474 - 467 = 7. Those two voters gave you an average score of 7/2 or 3.5.
(I think that kinda made sense... ask me if you don't get it)

I haven't hit my update button since last night, but it may have something to do with it being Labor Day here,
and I slept in until just recently. Now that I have, I see the typical drop as expected.
Still close enough to 7 to walk away smiling.

| I have tons more to comment on too. I may not get to them all but I make a few more sweeps after the initial reaction - comment more and up or down my original scores. :~) I usually go up and not down. |
