I took this one for the HC Challenge, but decided to use another one (completely different). Hope you don't like it much...

| *Very* nice picture, but IMHO I don't think it would get a ribbon. Might have placed in the top 20 though, depending on how many unbelievably perfect shots show up in this challenge. I hope your entry will be even better =] |

| This is the first challenge I have a lot of outtakes from that do not give away my entry. Some just weren't 'high contrasty' enough and some I never even processed. |

I love it, would have given it an 8 a)if I was a member b)if you had entered this. But then again I'm a DPCer different from the norm :P

i dont know if it would have been high contrast enough for me - it contrasts withthe background yes, but the subject itself is mostly a collection of different shade which is what i would call the oposite of high contrast.
I will be looking for clear soild colours rather than shades and tones in this challenge. |

I wasn't convinced too, even if the definition of high contrast is very subjective. Literally, you're right.
