During some random surfing I came across WoldPay. It's a payment processing site, in many ways like paypal (or paypal is like it?), but is a part of The Royal Bank of Scotland Group. Being a closely associated with a prominent bank has it's own advantages, such as a higher level of trust -- but I'm wondering which is more widely accepted.

I had never heard of WorldPay before this, but PayPal is a very common term -- but I'm not quite naive enough to assume this is the case everywhere. I know many have had trouble becoming members here and elsewhere and am curious if the Bank of Scotland is more widely accessible than a non-bank such as PayPal -- or are the limitations within the specific contries those who have had troubles are from, and apply equally to all outside organizations?
