Took this photo this morning of my Britanny, Tucker, on the first day of hunting-2005. Any ideas on how I can make it pop a bit?
I have the full 3000x2000 photo, so I have a lot of options for cropping and editing.
Thanks in advance!

You could get a least two nice crops. I'm assuming the original includes the whole dog.
1) a nice tight close up crop on the dog's head, maybe a square crop, and
2) a crop including the whole dog, with his head/eyes at the point of the top right rule of thirds intersection.
Hope that helps, Paula |

I added +67% midtone contrast and a green gradient layer to the top half at 35% opacity. Don't have a page to post it to at this point.
I thought it looked pretty good whn I was done. The contrast and gradient helped to make the dog stand out more. |
