Hello,

Here is an air shot of my home in Metairie, La after the storm. Metairie is 6 mi west of New Orleans. I can see it was flooded b/c of the "brown" driveway. I marked some land marks. I can see some shingles missing from the roof.

I don't have Photoshop with me. I evacuated and can't go home for weeks.

Can you guys try to enhance a litte and repost so I can get a better idea of the damage?

I have Google Earth loaded on my PC. The images may be sharper than the one you posted. If you would PM me with your street address, I'll see what I can pull down for you.

EDIT:
Actually, nevermind. I realized that the images Google Earth would provide would be out-dated. I don't see any current satellite pics of the area.

Question: What is the source of your image?

there is not really much their when it comes to quality, I did what I could with it. I croped it in and enlarged it. I also ran some sharpening filters over it but the best bet is pull out the old magnifine glass if you can get one.

I'm really sorry about your house....

i think if the file size is larger then the quality may be a bit higher. Is it possible to email you a file?
