I made this for my grandmother, I was hopeing to get some c and c for more info on the comp. see the info on the image itself.

Consider adding a current day BW photo into the lower right hand corner. It will add a balance to the composition of the layout. Layouts with odd numbers of things are graphically more pleasing to the eye and it will show 3 different stages of her life. Something else they tell you in graphic arts classes is that photos with people in them should have the people looking or facing into the page. -- try switching the two photos and see if you like that better.

This is something your grandmother will treasure forever -- very special of you to do this for her.

To me if I had someone to give me a gift from the heart it needs no c and c! You did great!

I like. I found the text over the face somewhat distracting. I would suggest doing a lighter blend for the text when it's on the face. I second the odd number comment.

Overall very nicely done. I like the look, the feel, and the textures.

thanks guys, when I gave it to her she liked it alot.

it's nothing compaird to all she has done for me though, she really has been my inspiration through many rough times in my life. I love her, I think I'll keep her
